Do you want to help build a better community for fellow San Antonians?
Would you like to see the smile on a child’s face because you took the time to make a difference?
If so, The Junior League of San Antonio, Inc. would like to invest in you, so that you can invest in our community!
In 1924, eleven women organized The Junior League of San Antonio, Inc., with a vision of making a difference in the lives of women and children in San Antonio. Eighty-six years later, the League has contributed over a million hours to the community, which translates into approximately eighteen million dollars worth of volunteer hours and over seven million dollars invested into projects in the community. The Junior League of San Antonio has “left its mark” in San Antonio through a number of organizations and community projects including:
- The Sunshine Cottage School for the Deaf;
- The San Antonio Zoo Docent Program;
- The McNay Docent Program;
- The Brackenridge Park Walking Paths; and
- Literacy San Antonio.
