LeaderBOARD

LeaderBOARD

LeaderBOARD is a training program for community members and partner agencies to provide training on the operation and function of nonprofit boards. Participation is provided as a public service by the Junior League of San Antonio, Inc. (JLSA) to improve communities by developing trained volunteers to help nonprofit organizations achieve their mission. LeaderBOARD includes six sessions across the six month program that will take place on the second Wednesday of each month.

LeaderBOARD participants can expect the program to empower them to be informed, responsible, and effective board members. Engaging topic presentations include fundraising, governance, strategic planning, and advocacy taught by well-known local experts in their fields. Course completion is celebrated with a  meet-and-greet with community nonprofits who are looking for enthusiastic, trained volunteers to serve on their boards.
