Junior League of San Antonio

The Junior League of San Antonio, Inc. is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.

Girls, Inc. - Growing Together

Volunteers meet with young women ages 9-11 along with an adult female family member or guardian.

Meals on Wheels

Meals on Wheels provides over 2,200 nutritious meals per day to 3,500 seniors annually. MOW provides essential food to frail homebound elders and often provides the only personal contact they will have daily.

Metropolitan Opera Auditions

The Junior League of San Antonio, Inc. presents the 47th Annual Southwest Regional Finals of the Metropolitan Opera Auditions at Laurie Auditorium of Trinity University. The event is free and open to the public.

Seton Home Mentoring

Seton Home exists to provide a nurturing environment for homeless, unwed teens that are pregnant and/or parenting and have chosen to keep and care for their babies.

Prevent Blindness

Prevent Blindness screened approximately 6,500 children in Bexar County last year, their goal is to increase that number to 8,000 by the end of this year and schools that represent 15,000 children, have requested help from Prevent Blindness.

SA Works

Junior League volunteers improve the community year-round through the done-in-a-day projects of S.A. Works. Volunteers work together with San Antonio agencies to meet community needs with immediate-impact projects.

Sunshine Singers

This group of bright, dynamic entertainers brings smiles, laughter, memories and music to senior citizens living in area nursing homes.

Southwest Mental Health Center

A not-for-profit children's hospital specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of mental, emotional and behavioral disorders serving children between the ages of 3 and 17.
